I was just asked the question, " If you could have anything to eat that you wanted what would it be?" I closed my eyes and was thinking and remembered the wonderful deviled crabs served at Strickland's and knew that was my answer. We were Navy at the time we lived in Jax Beach from 1969-1973 and by far that was my favorite place to eat, even though I'm normally not a big seafood lover. Strickland's was the best.

I was stationed at Mayport from 1971 thru 1973, Stricklands at Mayport was the best seafood ever. After 36 yrs I am back in Mayport visiting my daughter and was hoping to take her and her mother there for dinner. What ashame its gone.
