Here comes the Judge - "All Rise!"

I just read Nath Doughtie's book "All Rise," and enjoyed it. I was also pleased that the book was printed "with minimum 30% recycled fibre," and that the print shop runs on "green energy" from solar, wind and other environmentally-friendly power sources." Acknowledgements amused me when I realized that Nat had thanked several dead writers who were referenced in his book (Hemmingway, Shakespeare, Browning, Poe, etc.). The "Dead Poet's Society?" The funniest part coincides with the books title "All Rise," which gave me a hearty LOL. In the beginning, the main character is named AC, who is a CIRCUIT judge. Thus, I wondered if Nat had planned to instill electricity into his novel? As Don Mabry mentioned, "All Rise" is a good read, and I highly recommend it. We used to call him "Nat" at Fletcher, but it appears that "Nath" may be more apropos for "His Honor," - in my opinion. As an aside, much of Nath's novel keys in on Micanopy, Florida, which is near a small town that I an researching named Flewellen. However, it went out of existance years ago, so information has become a challenge. Nath's descriptions of several areas near Gainesville are right on target. Internet photos can prove it! 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
